Transfer of unpaid dividend amounts to Investor Education Protection Fund (IEPF)
In terms of the circular issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs notifying “Investor Education and Protection Fund (Uploading of information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with Companies) Rules, 2012”, Companies are required to upload the details of unclaimed dividend on their website.
In view of the above, information of shareholders who have not claimed dividend paid by the Company on shares, is provided hereunder:
The shareholders are hereby informed that the company has transferred the unpaid dividend amounts of financial year 2005-06 to the Investor Education Protection Fund as required under section 205A(5) of the Companies Act, 1956.
The Dividend declared and distributed by the Company to its shareholders which remains unclaimed gets accumulated with the Company. As per Section 205C of the Act, the Company requires to transfer the dividend that has not been claimed for a period of seven years from the unpaid dividend account to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The shareholders who have not claimed their dividend are advised to do the same as once unclaimed dividend is transferred to IEPF, no claim shall lie in respect thereof with the Company or IEPF.
